The design approach centered on preserving the character of the existing lobby while thoughtfully elevating it for the present. Many of the original architectural elements carried a strong sense of identity, and the goal was to retain what could be historically preserved while refining the overall expression of the space.

The existing ceiling pattern was maintained and reinterpreted in a more monolithic form, reinforcing its geometry and presence. Careful coordination with stone vendors allowed the team to source materials that matched the original palette, while introducing a complementary stone that brightens and harmonizes the environment.
