Interior Renovation
New York, NY
14,000 sf

Designed within the Solar Carve building, this office reimagines the workplace as a flexible environment that supports the evolving nature of hybrid work while maintaining a refined setting for hosting clients. The design balances spaces for focused work, collaboration, and informal gathering, encouraging teams to reconnect in person while remaining adaptable for the future.

Inspired by the nearby landscape of Little Island and the layered character of the Meatpacking District, the space weaves natural materials into the building’s industrial framework. A freestanding wood-clad structure anchors the plan, housing collaborative rooms designed with integrated technology and careful acoustic consideration to support the rhythms of modern work. Natural wood tones, greenery, and filtered light soften the exposed concrete shell, creating an atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and grounded.

Organized into three zones—greet, work, and play—the workplace supports a range of activities while maintaining clear circulation and maximizing views of the Hudson River. The result is a contemporary office environment that bridges the comfort of home with the energy of the city.
